Our Aspvik collection is a classic design that will look as good today as it will in 50 years. The collection is created in collaboration with Sweden's leading party planner Micael Bindefeld and illustrator Anna Handell, and is in essence an ode to timeless table settings and genuine craftsmanship. The varied blue decoration on this high quality white feldspar porcelain creates a harmonious and elegant look. Here, Micael's unique design and concept meld with Anna's detailed illustrations and exquisite product design to create a porcelain collection that is not only beautiful but also displays stories from one of Sweden's most prominent creative talents.
The inspiration for the design comes from Micael's grandmother's hand-painted porcelain and his own travels around the world. The blue floral border adorning the porcelain is inspired by Micael's private garden at Aspvik in the Stockholm archipelago. Thanks to the skilled illustrator and graphic designer Anna Handell, each piece of porcelain is a work of art – the wavy edges require both precision and concentration as they are decorated.
